Throughout his undergraduate degree Raymond hosted a music show on CFUV community radio and competed on the Varsity Rowing Team.
After completing his B.A. Raymond managed a café for several years and competed in both the Victoria Barista Championships and the Canadian Barista Championships, placing well at both competitions.
Raymond moved to Edmonton in 2005 and obtained his Bachelor of Laws from the University of Alberta in 2007. Raymond also volunteered for Student Legal Services helping underprivileged members of society gain access to legal information including divorce clinics. While at law school, Raymond was active in student activities, including involvement in the annual charity event “law show” and participated in a cancer fundraiser.
Raymond articled with a small law firm in Edmonton, gaining valuable hands on experience in a variety of practice areas including civil and family litigation, real estate and contracts. Raymond has an interest in employment law, class actions and corporate litigation. In his spare time Raymond enjoys cycling, woodworking, and cooking.
