Will joined JSS Barristers as an associate after being called to the Alberta Bar in 2017. Born and raised in the City of Calgary Will obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Facility Management from the University of Alberta in 2010. Following his undergraduate studies, Will took some time away from scholastics to pursue interests in emergency medicine volunteering for the Red Cross overseas.

Upon his return to Canada in 2012, Will attended the University of Calgary and graduated in 2016 with a Juris Doctorate and Masters of Business Administration. While obtaining his JD/MBA Will volunteered with Pro-Bono Students Canada and Student Legal Assistance gaining experience in family, civil, and criminal litigation.

As a student, Will was active in the competitive mooting program where he was recognized by the American Association for Justice by being awarded the Brian Dickson Medal for distinguished advocacy. Will has been involved in the teaching and facilitation of mooting and debating programs throughout the City of Calgary mentoring a wide variety of students ranging in age from primary school to undergraduate studies.

In his spare time, Will is an avid skier, runner, and hiker and happily competes in all forms of team sports. Will is a member of the Law Society of Alberta and the Canadian Bar Association and currently acts as the co-chair for the Canadian Bar Association Articling Section.
