Sarah is a native Calgarian with an international perspective. Growing up in Calgary, much time was spent abroad at international show jumping competitions and in England and the United States with family. Sarah's love of travel has taken her around the world, most recently to South East Asia, Germany, the Czech Republic and Holland.
Sarah worked for several years at a large national law firm as a corporate paralegal. She then moved to England and attended law school at the University of Leicester, receiving an LL.B. with honours in 2010. While in law school, Sarah was a finalist in the University of Leicester and the College of Law of England and Wales moot where she, along with her team, won the legal argument portion. Prior to joining JSS Barristers, Sarah worked at a large national law firm as knowledge management co-ordinator in Calgary.
Sarah enjoys being outdoors in the mountains on her mountain bike or telemark skiing and when the weather permits, you will find Sarah out riding her motorcycle.
Sarah completed her articles with JSS Barristers and was called to the Alberta bar in 2013.
