Sarah is a native Calgarian with an international perspective. Growing up in Calgary, much time was spent abroad at international show jumping competitions and in England and the United States with family. Sarah's love of travel has taken her around the world, most recently to South East Asia and Europe.
Sarah worked for several years at a large national law firm as a corporate paralegal. She then moved to England and attended law school at the University of Leicester, receiving an LL.B. with honours in 2010. Prior to joining JSS Barristers, Sarah worked at a large national law firm as knowledge management co-ordinator in Calgary.
Sarah completed her articles with JSS Barristers and was called to the Alberta bar in 2013. Her general litigation practice includes employment matters (both employer and employee), corporate and commercial disputes, oil and gas, real estate, shareholder and securities disputes and class actions.
She is a member of the Law Society of Alberta, the Canadian Bar Association and the Calgary Bar Association.
Sarah enjoys being outdoors in the mountains cycling or telemark skiing, and when the weather permits, you will find Sarah out riding her motorcycle. She volunteers with the Canadian Cancer Society, Alberta/NWT division.
