Gabrielle graduated with a J.D. from the University of Calgary Faculty of Law in 2013, where she achieved Dean's List standing throughout her three years at law school. During her studies, Gabrielle volunteered with the Society of Law Students as the First Year Events Representative and the Vice President Events. She also served as the representative for the class of 2013 on the Law Faculty Counsel and played on the UofC Law women's rugby team.

Prior to law school, Gabrielle worked at a local Calgary publisher after obtaining her Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in English Literature at the University of Calgary in 2006 and her Master of Arts in English Literature from the University of Victoria in 2008.

Gabrielle joined JSS in 2017 after articling and practicing at a large national firm. She has a general practice in civil litigation, including corporate commercial disputes, contractual disputes, personal injury law, real property law, and estate litigation.

In her spare time, Gabrielle enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, travelling, going to live theatre performances, diligently avoiding the gym, and reading.
