Kelsey completed her articles with the Provincial Court of Alberta and a boutique Calgary litigation firm before joining JSS Barristers in 2017. Kelsey is a graduate of the University of Calgary School of Law, where she was active as a volunteer with Student Legal Assistance and Pro Bono Law Alberta's Queen's Bench Amicus Court Assistance Program.

Prior to law school, Kelsey completed a Master of Arts in European, Russian, and Eurasian Studies from the University of Toronto, where she was a recipient of funding from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada and led the University of Toronto's annual delegation to an international francophone student simulation of the European Parliament.

Kelsey has a general litigation practice with experience in commercial disputes, employment law, and administrative law including professional discipline and freedom of information and privacy matters.
