Cassandra obtained her J.D. from the University of Calgary Law School, where she achieved Dean's List standing. During her studies, Cassandra volunteered as a clinical caseworker with Student Legal Assistance and was a member of the 2012 Court of Appeal Civil Moot team. She was also involved with the Faculty's Environmental Law Clinic which included working on energy projects involving the Alberta Utilities Commission and Energy Resources and Conservation Board.
Prior to law school, Cassandra obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree (with distinction) in Philosophy and Psychology from the University of Alberta and worked as a Rail Traffic Controller.
Cassandra has a general practice in civil litigation, including commercial disputes (domestic and international), contractual disputes, corporate oppression actions, class actions and employment law.
Cassandra also frequently volunteers her time within the legal community, including the Court of Queen's Bench Amicus program, U of C Law School moots, and Calgary Legal Guidance's ID clinic. She loves the mountains and various outdoor activities, particularly hiking and snowboarding, and enjoys do-it-yourself projects.
