JSS Barristers Investigates Class Action Relating To Possible Information Disclosure by Calgary Physician
On August 22, 2019, it was reported that personal information of approximately 7000 Albertans was disclosed when the personal email account of a physician working at Calgary’s Richmond Road Diagnostic and Treatment Centre was hacked. It is reported that information accessed may have included health details, including patients’ names, date of birth, address, personal health numbers and limited diagnostic and treatment information.
JSS is currently investigating a potential class action lawsuit in relation to this disclosure.
